I am a proud Mother of 4 wonderful kids. I understand that in order to keep moving forward, we have to be open to spontaneity and embrace change; I always remind my children that life must be fun and we must be open to learning. You cannot grow if you’re not open to learning and improving. I aim to be a life long learner in all aspects of my life; my career in Real Estate is no exception!
I started my own business when I was just 19 years old. It was huge endeavour to take on and I kept it going for 17 years. During this time I learned the importance caring about my clients and listening to their needs; I was thorough and aimed to please. A happy client was the ultimate goal and is my goal in real estate as well.
Before I decided to become a real estate agent, I was an Executive Assistant at a real estate brokerage. This allowed me to see the importance and value in client care, accuracy in all paperwork, and respecting and fulfilling deadlines. Being able to alleviate my client’s stress, is a skill I have perfected over many years.
Outside of work, my husband and I LOVE to travel and spend time with our teens doing active things. We like to plan our trips around activities such as hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, ice climbing, snorkeling or zip-lining. Music is something that also brings us together as a family. Travels are planned around music events and concerts; our last music festival was the famous Majah Rayjah reggae festival in Maui, Hawaii. Hawaii is hands down the best place that I have ever been; there is just something so magical about it. Another favourite music spot for us is Jazz Alley in downtown Seattle.
I’m very excited to provide my clients with a sense of honesty and transparency that I know is hard to come by in this business. I also feel that with my creative eye and positive attitude, I will be the right fit for those people who need a fresh outlook on their Real Estate transactions and experiences. I am my client’s best advocate in any situation; I aim to deliver satisfaction at the highest level possible!

What would you do if you won the lottery?
I need to start this answer with a story. When I was a single mother, even though I had a thriving business, Christmas was still a stressful time of the year. I was standing shoulder to shoulder with last minute shoppers a few days before Christmas at Walmart when I felt a tap on my shoulder. A woman handed me a $100 Walmart gift card and said “Merry Christmas” and she was gone before I could even open my mouth; I was stunned!! That gesture really hit me. From that moment I vowed that if I ever won the lottery or was in a position to do that for others, I would hand out money randomly to strangers. The woman at the grocery store, the man at the gas station filling up his vehicle, the young student who’s working nights, the waitress who had a fantastic smile and great attitude… There would be so much joy in that!
If you could personally witness one event in history what would it be?
Martin Luther King presenting his speech “I have a dream”.
If I could have any superpower what would it be?
My motto in life is simple:
“ Learn, Love and Live”
