I was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and then I grew up in the Fort McMurray and Lloydminster Area(s). Having spent much of my formative years in these 2 places, I often dreamed of moving away when I was older, to a warmer, more tropical climate. It was a natural progression for me then, to make the move to the more ‘southern’ and larger City of Edmonton at some point.
I have been an Edmontonian since 1992 and I have grown and changed with the City for over 20 years now and I have been very proud of its steady expansion. Conversely, I have marvelled at Edmonton’s ability to maintain a community-focused, small town feel all these years while remaining an exciting place where I am more than happy to raise my 2 beautiful daughters.
Since 2004, I have been a successful Mortgage Broker. To this day, I am still licensed with the Mortgage Centre in Edmonton and I am confident in both my abilities as a Mortgage Broker and now as a Real Estate Agent to offer my clients advice on both subjects interchangeably. Also, by nature, I am very business orientated. I have always been very clear about my financial goals and I immensely enjoy Real Estate in the sense that it allows me the opportunity to help my clients reach their personal and financial goals for their families sooner than they expected, through educated and focused decisions.
When I am not working, I am very involved with my daughters’ extra circular activities. As a family, we love to travel (Mexico is a personal favourite), play soccer, go skiing and participate in as many festivals as our eclectic City has to offer; an annual favourite is always ‘The Fringe’. We try to soak in as much of the food, the artisans, the atmosphere and the entertainment that ‘The Fringe’ offers on hot August Summer nights before both of my girls go back to school in the Fall.
A personal favourite for me, when time permits, is to pursue my passion of discovering Alberta and BC by car. I have made countless trips to the West Coast of Vancouver Island where I have spent extensive time in the seaside towns of Tofino and Ucluelet. The jaw-dropping scenery that spans between these 2 towns along the Pacific Rim Highway, is the stuff that dreams are made of and is a thirst for me that is never quite quenched; which is probably why I always find my car headed West on Road-Trips.
Being that I am very family focused and I ‘Liv’ for my Daughters, I am very excited to be working for ‘Liv’ Real Estate, a Family-run, local Real Estate Brokerage that is as equally invested in Family and ‘Liv-ing’ life to the fullest, at and outside of work, as I am!
