“To give real service, you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money,
and that is sincerity and integrity.”
Throughout my career, from a Technological Consulting Company to a Vacation Exchange Broker, my focus was always on customer satisfaction. There is something very gratifying about helping someone find the one thing that has eluded them: Real Estate is the ultimate manifestation of this. Finding one’s dream home, is often the missing piece of the puzzle, in a life well lived. When you put others needs first, the outcome is rewarding for both parties.
Born and raised in the largest city in North America (and no, it’s not NYC, but good guess) I come from the beautifully diverse metropolis of Mexico City. With a population of over 21 million, it truly is the City that never sleeps. I’ve always lived with the mentality that you need to bring your “A” game …every-single-day, just to make it. In order to stand out from the crowd, I had to develop strategies, to differentiate myself from everyone else. Surviving in such a competitive market, such as Mexico City, shaped my character and gave me a determination to be unique in everything that I do.
My mother was very business oriented and impressed upon me the value of hard work, and constantly redeveloping your skills to stay relevant in a fast-paced world. My grandfather, who helped raise me was a German immigrant, extremely organized, disciplined, strict, honest, and of course loved soccer; don’t we all? One of the greatest gifts that my Grandpa passed on to me, is the desire to travel and see the world, and I have travelled to 38 cities and lived in 7. Travelling is one of the most rewarding experiences that you can have, it gives you the opportunity to see, feel and taste this beautiful world that we all share and view life from someone else’s perspective for a change.
My love of Canada started when I moved to Vancouver, right after finishing high school. I enrolled in numerous courses focusing on marketing and hospitality. What started out as a one-semester study plan, ended up being a 3-year education. I found my studies to be very enriching and they helped pave the way for many other job and life opportunities to come.
It’s hard to believe that I have been living in the sometimes icy and cold, but always bursting with Canadian warmth and charm, city of Edmonton since 2007. I love this city and I’m anxious to hear what your needs are, and how together, we can find that place you’ve always been looking for!
How I Liv:
What are your hobbies?
I work-out 5 days a week; it’s true when they say that this is the best way to start your day; it energizes you and gets you focused to face the day head on.
My wife and I are absolute movie addicts, we go to the movies at least once a week! My all time favourite movie, is a tie between “Brave Heart” & “Scent of a Woman”; more recently “Inception”
I also devour documentaries whenever I get a chance and my two favourite sports to play and watch are tennis & soccer.
If you could personally witness one event in history, what would it be?
The alien arrival! C’mon peeps they are out there!
What’s your favourite vacation?
After years of planning, my wife and I travelled around Europe for 6-weeks with our best friends; yes, it was epic! Our next goal is either South Asia or South America.
If you only had 24 hrs to live, what would you do?
I would gather all my family and friends to sail through the Mediterranean while we feast in the most exquisite banquette I have ever seen!
