Amanda Gering, REALTOR®, Associate

Born and raised in Leduc (aka "The Outdoor Experience), I have somersaulted, front-tucked and cartwheeled my way around the world and back… and I am proud to have firmly 'stuck' my 'landing' here in beautiful Leduc. Having lived on Edmonton's front doorsteps for most of my life, I have had the advantage of utilizing the 'Big City' for finding amazing new restaurants and shopping while enjoying the perks of living in a 'Small Town.' I love nothing more than retreating to one of Leduc's beautifully maintained green spaces for an impromptu afternoon of throwing around a football and catching up with all my busy friends.

How I Liv

  • If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
My Grandad. He was from England, and always had the best stories and knowledge of things back in his day that I always found so interesting. He was such a good man and a true old-school gentleman.
  • If you could trade places with any famous person, living or dead, who would it be, and what would you do differently?
Princess Diana. There is not a lot I would have done differently. She was a classy and kind-hearted woman.
  • If you could personally witness one event in history, what would it be?
I would love to be able to go to the Summer Olympics Games of 2004 in Greece.
  • What’s your favourite quote?
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take- Wayne Gretzky
  • What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would tell my parents to retire and buy them a home someone warm on the beachfront, right next door to mine.
  • What's your favourite place to visit?
One of my favourite places to visit that I've been fortunate to visit multiple times is Barbados. My grandmother is from there, so we have a lot of family out there to visit and stay with. Learning the culture from the locals is always such an experience!
  • What's your favourite restaurant in Edmonton?
I love Chop, Cactus Club, and Sicilian Pasta Kitchen, Corso32, Japenese Village, to name a few.
  • If you could shop for free forever at any store, what store would it be?
WINNERS, Safeway (free groceries would be nice), or Lululemon
