Kory Mobey

This ‘good life’ started in Prince George, British Colombia. I spent a small portion of my youth living all over the B.C. interior, appropriately referred to by many as “God’s Country” for its otherworldly beauty. Later on, we moved to Whitecourt, Alberta, where I did most of my schooling before finishing my high school years in Drayton Valley, Alberta.

After high school, I decided to venture out on my own in the world and took a job doing door-to-door sales travelling across Canada. Let me tell you, what an amazing experience that was! This job provided me with a firsthand look at all of the unique areas, big and small, from coast-to-coast, that make up our fine Country. I met people from all provinces and all backgrounds, further proving to me that we are a great nation made up of the most kindhearted people. During this time, I developed my passion for working with people. Once I understood how to converse with people from all walks of life, it was easy to master the art of selling in any capacity.

I spent the next 25 years of my career primarily in sales and management. This opportunity provided me with a great deal of knowledge on different industries, people, corporations, and an acute business sense and savvy. I am a firm believer that personal and professional growth means having a constant hunger for knowledge and learning. I will always seek to understand my surroundings better and be a more compassionate person, and I teach my kids these same principles. With this in mind, I have embarked on the next chapter of life in Residential Real Estate, where I enjoy managing the professional and personal expectations of buyers and sellers in our fast-moving Alberta economy.
