Parks, Trails & Green Spaces

With the Bow River flowing along Roxboro's northern border, residents are treated to riverfront views to the north and direct access to trails along the Elbow River. The trails comprise the Elbow River Pathway, a point-to-point trail that spans 8.7 kilometres adjacent to the Elbow River. Northbound along the Elbow River is Lindsay Park, while Stanley Park lies southbound. Each park boasts acres of trails, lush green spaces with riverside seating, picnic tables, playgrounds, and off-leash dog areas!

Transportation & Accessibility 

There is one bus line within Roxboro that will allow for a 30-commute to as far north as Tuxedo Park, east as Radisson Heights, south as Southwood, and west as Rosscarock.

There are direct routes to the downtown core, with the commute varying from 25 to 30 minutes. Cyclists will enjoy pathways and trails to the downtown core for a quick and easy 15-minute journey. 

Macleod Trail is easily accessible to Roxboro and will provide north and southbound access, with a 10-minute commute downtown.
