For high school, Dr. Gladys McKelvie Egbert School teaches grades six until nine and is located five minutes north in Marlborough Park. The secondary school offers Advanced Placement courses, dual credit, and off-campus work experience.

Transportation & Accessibility 

There is one bus route that operates within the community for a commute as far north as Taradale, south as Foothills, and west as Inglewood. Upon Completion of the Green Line on Calgary's LRT system, Applewood Park will be served by the Ramsey LRT Station. 

With Stoney Trail NE bisecting Applewood Park, you will enjoy direct access to one of the city's most accessible traffic arteries. The massive highway encircles all of Calgary and will facilitate travel throughout the city. For east and westbound travel, you will have the options of Memorial Drive E and 17th Avenue SE.
