Citadel has two elementary schools: Citadel Park School from Kindergarten to grade four and St. Brigid Catholic School from kindergarten to grade nine. 

Arbour Lake School is an excellent option for grades five to nine, while Robert Thirsk High School in Arbour lake offers Advanced Placement university preparatory courses and off-campus work experience to students

Transportation & Accessibility 

Three bus routes within Citadel allow for a 30-minute commute to as far north as Royal Vista, east as Edgemont, south as Scenic Acres, and west as Rocky Ridge. Crowfoot LRT Station on Calgary's Red Line is within 10 minutes of Citadel. 

Stoney Trail is immediately available to Citadel and provides access to all corners of Calgary, as it encircles the city. Crowchild Trail is accessed via Sarcee and Shaganappi Trails for a commute to significant work centres within the northwest and beyond to the Downtown Core in under 30 minutes.
