During the past decade, I have worked as a Broker, as well as a Real Estate Agent, and I can honestly say I can’t imagine doing anything else. To this day, finding a client’s dream home gives me immense joy and satisfaction. I love to foster great relationships with people. Developing trust and making the process smooth and easy for my clients is incredibly rewarding for me. I love to work with all kinds of people and families, and have a special place in my heart for first-time home buyers; we've all been there:)
I have worked in sales my whole life, starting out at the store my Dad managed when I was a teenager. In my early 20’s I sold cell phones for a few years and learned to be tech savvy in a rapidly changing online world. I always wanted to travel and I figured I should "go big or stay home". So I packed up and moved to Australia, where I spent a year indulging my love for adventure, making friends, scuba diving, and jumping off of cliffs. When I came back to Edmonton, I quickly caught the Real Estate bug. Within a few months of returning home, I had my real estate license and never looked back.
Prior to my Real Estate and travelling days, I was originally founded in our nation’s capital (née born in Ottawa); but with a Mom from Newfoundland and a Dad from Nova Scotia, part of my origins will always think of Eastern Canada as home.
During my free time, I’m a golf enthusiast, tech geek, sci-fi fan and animal lover. I am owned by three spoiled cats, and my girlfriend and I volunteer for a local rescue organization. I treasure my family and friends and love hanging out with my two nieces (I may know all the words to the Frozen soundtrack at this point)!
I see my time with clients as unique learning experiences, not business transactions, where I can use my real estate experience to assist others and meet their needs. I have found the perfect professional 'home' at Liv Real Estate, where I can build relationships with clients, with the support of a company whose sole focus is on customer satisfaction, not deals closed.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would take care of my friends and family first. Then I would buy a bed and breakfast in the Caribbean and run a scuba diving company. In my spare time, I would lounge on the beach or go hiking.
What did you get into trouble for the most as a child?
Too many things...my poor mother. I was a ball of energy and a daredevil. I liked to jump off high buildings. I guess I was practicing for those sea side cliffs.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Can I have two? Because flying and breathing underwater are tied.
If you could shop for free forever at any store, what store would it be?
Best Buy, in a heartbeat.
If you could be a character in a book or movie, which one would you be?
My husband and I really loved to work with Liv Real Estate®, specially with Beverley Hasinoff. She was so candid, looking out for what we wanted, diligent and so helpful in helping us understand all the process as first homeowners. They really follow through and make sure everything is in place. I absolutely recommend them. This is a really professional team.‐ Gabriela Siade Read More
