When I learned that Liv Real Estate recognizes their Real Estate Agents for excellence in service, not sales, I knew in my heart that this was the Professional Home that I had been searching for.
Liv Real Estate is a place where my kindness, hard work, passion for business and life and exceptional customer service experience is appreciated, valued and rewarded.
Working in such a positive professional environment invigorates me to help my clients find their ideal home based on their unique needs, values and desires!
The quote “Live Simply, Expect Little, Give Much” has long been my favourite motto in life and can sum up what drives me, personally and professionally.
My upbringing on a humble family farm in rural Saskatchewan is where I learned, from a young age, the principles of hard work, perseverance, the spirit of community, and contribution. I recall one particularly dry Fall, and my after-school chores involved herding the cattle, for hours on foot, around the surrounding fields to ensure that the cows received adequate nutrition. These were not paid roles, but in doing so, I gained the values and experiences that I value far more than any compensation at that time could have offered. The life lessons that I learned growing up on our family farm have continued to serve me throughout my career.
Upon leaving the farm, I obtained my Degree in Business Administration at the University in Regina, followed by moving to Fort McMurray and Red Deer for some life experience. I finally found my home in the gorgeous city of Edmonton in 2004. Since that time, I have come to cherish all that this great city has to offer; Festivals, arts and an amazing culinary scene. The expansive River Valley system, which is equally as gorgeous in all 4 Seasons, is paramount among the reasons why my two beautiful daughters and I love to call Edmonton home.
Outside of work, the majority of my time is spent connecting with my family and friends. I also enjoy running and have participated in six half marathons to date; I love snowboarding, camping, hiking, and anything to do with the arts. The Vignettes Design Series Festival and Ballet Edmonton are two of my favourite local indulgences.
Having a background in Human Resources, followed by the opportunity to be a homemaker to focus on my two growing daughters, my concentration has always been on the quality of my relationships. Taking care of others comes naturally to me, and my goal is to help my clients feel as comfortable, informed, and confident throughout the entire experience as possible.
I welcome, and am excited for, the opportunity to serve you in finding your perfect fit for your next home!
I Liv: for Family, Friends, and Travel
If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
My grandma because she is the epitome of hospitality, love, warmth, comfort, and always has great stories to share. She is such a great model and influence in my life.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
Firstly, I would make sure my family is taken care of, make some charitable contributions, and then I would definitely travel to see as much of the world as I can!
What's your dream vacation?
I want to explore so much of the world that it is an impossible choice, really. However, I would love to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru! Or simply travel anywhere in South America.
