The Area
Elboya is burrowed in between the communities of Britannia and Parkhill, with Windsor Park to the south. The community is contained in a land area of 0.7 square kilometres and was established in 1947. As such, you find a variety of housing styles, from traditional cottage-style homes to newly renovated craftsman homes, and luxurious, modern land infills.

On the community's northeastern edge is Stanley Park. Education
Within the community is Elboya School, which offers kindergarten to grade nine, with early and late French immersion training. In the neighbouring Elbow Park, there is Elbow Park Elementary which offers kindergarten to grade six.
Rideau Park School is also an option for kindergarten until grade 9. For High School students, Western Canada is an excellent option, as one of the best public schools in Calgary. The institution offers French immersion training, the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program, and off-campus work experience.
For private options, Elboya is within 10 minutes of the prestigious Rundle Academy, Masters Academy & College, and Clear Water Academy. Each school maintains a selective admissions criteria, enhanced faculties, and excellent facilities.
Transportation & Accessibility
One bus line operates within the community, allowing for a 30-minute commute to as far north as Crescent Heights, east as Manchester, south as Canyon Meadows, and west as Lincoln Park. The 39th Avenue LRT station is easily accessible to Elboya, which operates on the city's Red Line, for north-to-southbound access.
With Macleod Trail serving as the community eastern border, residents of Elboya enjoy a quick and direct route to the downtown core and major work centres. A commute to the downtown core is completed within 10 minutes.
