Alison Dowdall, REALTOR®, Associate

Born and raised in Devon, Alberta, I am a small-town girl at heart! I was raised in a big, loving family, the youngest of four siblings, with more cousins than I could count! My Mother's core mantra ~ "no one ever goes poor from giving," ~ was instilled in me at a very young age; this adage was very formative in creating the hospitable person I am today.

Ali is a gem! Even when she was away, she was always available for a call or a message. I've been handing out her business cards to anyone who even whispers that they want to sell or buy a home! Read More

How I Liv

  • What is your favourite local restaurant?
Rural Routes in Leduc, AB. The menu items are constantly changing; the owners add a creative and delicious twist on current food trends. Rural Routes is also a Microbrewery, where the beers rotate, and their Brewer does an incredible job finding unique flavours for traditional styles.
  • What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would invest in Real Estate and Dividend Stocks. With the passive income from Investing, I would take care of my family and make annual contributions to the Children's Ability Fund and Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS Edmonton). I've seen firsthand what the organizations do for their members and would love to share my wealth! Lastly, I would build my dream home on Jack Fish Lake, Parkland County, as it is still close enough to the City to practice in Real Estate.
  • What’s your favourite quote?
"Where you tend a rose, my lad, A thistle cannot grow." – The Secret Garden.
  • What did you get into trouble for the most as a child?
    Winding the dogs up.
  • If you had 24 hours to live, what would you do?
I would want to spend my final day with my family in my childhood home. We currently have family dinners every Sunday; I'd hope for it to be like every other Sunday. I would play a game of soccer with my nephews, brothers, partner and my Dad. I'd laugh with my sister and sisters-in-law about something my mom is saying or doing and just relive all the fond memories that we've shared together. I would express my gratitude and love toward each one of them, especially my sister. Finally, I'd wind up the dogs, one more time.
