I grew up in small towns across Alberta, often relocating for my dad’s career. These experiences taught me resilience, to leave every community better than how you found it and lent to my observant and outgoing nature.

I quickly discovered my passion for travel and moved to Grand Cayman, where I met my future wife while both working at The Westin as a bartender and beach cocktail waitress. On our way home, we spent time in Costa Rica studying yoga. This is where I discovered my love for surfing, and still escape the prairies yearly to pursue this passion. I love the outdoors and have a deep respect for nature and the ocean.

My wife and I both returned to Edmonton in 2001. I worked in oil and gas for seven years until we moved to Sydney, Australia, where we lived on Manly Beach, among the magical Northern Beaches. We came home in 2009 to start our family. That’s when I founded my own white-glove moving, storage and installations company. Over the next several years, I familiarized myself with thousands of homes and countless neighbourhoods in Edmonton and surrounding areas, intimately getting to know every corner of the city. During the pandemic, I realized my long-time interest in real estate. At forty-one, I took the leap with a career change, as it was absolutely necessary for my own personal fulfillment, health and well-being, and professional growth. As an active and devoted father, my family, friends, and community are the cornerstones of my life. You can often find me in the River Valley walking our dog, Chewy, and in the winter, you can find me on my snowboard on the hill with my three kids.

What do you Liv for?
I Liv for friends and family. I Liv to surf and travel.
What's your favourite local restaurant?
My favourite local restaurants include; Tiramisu Bistro for breakfast, Cactus Club and Farrow for lunch. Rebel and The Cabin for dinner. Columbian YEG for coffee.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Flying, hands down! No explanation required. haha
If you could be a character in a book or movie, which one would you be?
Obi-Wan Kenobi...guys a straight-up boss. Wise, patient and a master Jedi!
If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do?
As much as humanly possible for the first 16hrs; surf, snowboard, scuba-dive and skydive. Then the last 8hrs would be spent with family and friends, preferably around a fire, telling stories, listening to music and laughing....maybe enjoying a few adult refreshments as well!

What would you do if you won the lottery?
Give what I could to family and friends. Making so many people less stressed financially and allowing the people I care about the most the ability to experience the world!
If you could personally witness one event in history, what would it be?
If you could personally witness one event in history, what would it be? I would love to witness so many events throughout history. But, if I had to witness just one...it would be back in 2011, when Garrett McNamara rode one of the biggest waves of all time in Nazare, Portugal. That and the "Big Bang," bearing witness to the universe and our planet being formed, would be cool too!!!
