I was born and raised in Bosnia and have called Edmonton my home since the early 90s. Growing up, I idolized my parents as they strived in their new environment to make an exceptional life for myself and my brother. My upbringing was filled with hard work, persistence and gratitude. Edmonton quickly adapted to being our home, and it will always remain.

My career started in the tech industry as a talent recruiter for an IT company. After graduating from the Computer Sciences program through NAIT and Grant MacEwan University, I applied for a position with IBM Canada. During my interview, the HR recruiter offered me a job at IBM; however, not for the start-up programming position, I had applied for, but for her job as a recruiter! I spent a few years in this role before eventually landing in the industry that has changed my life - real estate. My mom, an established real estate agent in the Edmonton Area, introduced me to this vital industry. That was over 15 years ago, and helping people buy their first home, sell their childhood home or purchase their dream home has allowed me to meet and connect with people from all walks of life and many parts of the world. Each of them has such a unique and fascinating story to tell. I have one of the best jobs on the planet, getting to play an integral role in guiding people through their biggest investments and life decisions.

What's your favourite local restaurant?
There are many great local restaurants, but Violino and Cafe Amore are top-notch!
If you could be a character in a book or movie, which one would you be?
Hermione Granger from Harry Potter.
What's the best vacation you've ever taken?
Travelling throughout Turkey. It was wonderful to experience the culture, the food and the history of this beautiful country.

If you had a 25 hour day, while everyone else only had 24, what would you do with the extra time?
Any extra time I have is committed to my family.
If you could personally witness one event in history, what would it be?
The building of the Great Pyramids of Giza. I was fortunate to have seen the great pyramids in person, and it was a breathtaking experience.
If you could shop for free forever at any store, what store would it be?
Homesense. I love interior design and decor, and you can find me in their stores a couple of times a week :)
