From a childhood spent moving throughout the Okanagan and Vancouver Island to building a life in Alberta at 19, adaptability and resilience have always been at the core of who I am. I came here in search of opportunity, a better cost of living, and, like many, figuring out what “adulting” really meant.
That journey led me into commercial construction, where I specialized in concrete, attended NAIT, and earned my Red Seal as a Journeyman Carpenter. Working alongside skilled tradespeople and experienced foremen instilled in me a deep respect for hard work, precision, and doing things the right way. I took pride in building something tangible, but over time, I realized something was missing: connection.
