Jodi Hatton

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and have spent the past 22 years caring for patients. My career took me from Edmonton to Auckland, New Zealand, where I lived and worked as a nurse, making lifelong friends before returning home. For the last 16 years, I’ve been a Critical Care Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, as well as a member of the Rapid Response Team. My time as an ICU nurse—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic—has shaped who I am and taught me the value of resilience and compassion.

Real estate has always intrigued me, but it wasn’t until 2017, when I met my husband Bill, who also works at Liv, that I truly understood the value of the profession. Watching him guide clients through stressful moments, I noticed striking similarities to nursing: both careers require trust, empathy, and adaptability as they help people navigate major life changes.

I’ve decided to make this career switch not only to better care for my physical and spiritual health, but also because I feel I can apply my skills directly to Real Estate. I’m not afraid of hard work and long hours. I am dependable and adaptable under pressure. I am compassionate and understanding in stressful situations. More than anything, I’m excited for the opportunity to guide my clients through what I consider one of the most stressful yet exciting journeys of their lives. I’m hoping you’ll give me that chance to prove my value to you!
