Mauricio Niemeyer

Born and raised in the largest City in North America (and no, it's not NYC, but good guess), I come from the beautifully diverse metropolis of Mexico City. With a population of over 21 million, it truly is the City that never sleeps. I've always lived with the mentality that you need to bring your "A" game …every-single-day, just to make it. To stand out from the crowd, I had to develop strategies, to differentiate myself from everyone else. Surviving in such a competitive market as Mexico City shaped my character and made me determined to be unique in everything I do.

My mother was very business-oriented and impressed upon me the value of hard work and constantly redeveloping your skills to stay relevant in a fast-paced world. My grandfather, who helped raise me, was a German immigrant, extremely organized, disciplined, strict, honest, and of course, loved soccer; don't we all? One of the greatest gifts that my Grandpa passed on to me is the desire to travel and see the world, and I have travelled to 38 cities and lived in 7. Travelling is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have; it allows you to see, feel and taste this beautiful world that we all share and view life from someone else's perspective for a change.
