My continuing education summoned me at that time to apply to the University of Alberta, where I went on to achieve a Degree in Management and Economics. I moved to Camrose on August 30th of, 2009, where I stayed for the following 4 years. Talk about culture shock - the first snowfall, though beautiful, literally kicked my butt. Thank God for hockey goalie pants and the fashion masterpiece that is Long Johns.

After completing my undergrad, I packed my 3 suitcases and moved to Edmonton. I have made many wonderful connections and memories in this diverse and expanding city I now call home. Since moving to Canada, I have realized that our differences make us stronger together. I appreciate that I can share my love of playing and watching Soccer (football for my non-north American readers) while conversing in English, Twi (my native tongue) and even "un petite de Français” (after a couple of glasses of Bordeaux).

Joel Robuchon. The mere fact that he is the most decorated Michelin Star Chef seemed like the most obvious choice for me.
