Nicky Kaufman

I’ve always been someone who thrives on connection, curiosity, and challenge. As a REALTOR®, CPA, investor, and competitive curler, I’ve learned that success, in both business and sport, comes down to preparation, intuition, and heart.

After earning my Business degree and CPA designation, I built a successful career in corporate accounting, working my way up to Controller. But over time, I realized what I truly loved wasn’t just numbers: it was people. I wanted to help others make confident financial decisions that would genuinely improve their lives. Real estate became the perfect fit: a place where I could combine strategy, analytics, and empathy to help clients find not just a house, but a home.

Nicky was awesome. She handled things very professionally yet kindly. My house needed a small repair work done and Nicky did it by herself (with her husband's help). She also handled other contractors visiting the property for services. I have never seen a realtor providing this level of customer... Read More

How I Liv

  • What do you Liv for?
I Liv for connection. The kind that turns clients into friends, houses into homes, and teammates into family. Whether it’s guiding someone through a major life move or helping a child throw their first curling rock, I’m passionate about creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and at home.
  • If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
I’d choose Sandra Schmirler. She was an incredible curler and leader who embodied grace, determination, and heart. I’d love to talk to her about teamwork, mindset, and what home means, on the ice and in life. As a REALTOR®, I help people find a place where they feel they belong, and curling has always been that place for me. I think we’d share stories about the power of community, resilience, and staying true to who you are.
  • If you could shop for free forever at any store, what store would it be?
I’d love to shop forever at a small-business marketplace like The NeuroSpicy Market. The kind where every purchase supports someone’s dream. I’ve seen firsthand how connection and community can change lives, and whether it’s through real estate, shared interests, or local entrepreneurship, I love being part of that ripple effect.
  • What's your favourite quote?
“It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.” Vince Lombardi In both curling and real estate, things don’t always go as planned. This quote reminds me that resilience and adaptability are what truly define success, not perfection, but persistence.
  • What's your favourite restaurant in Edmonton?
It's a little outside of Edmonton, but my favourite restaurant is Barbacoa in Spruce Grove. Definitely worth the drive!
  • If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do?
Take a road trip to the mountains with my husband, daughter, and puppy (well, she's actually thirteen years old but will always be a puppy in my mind) and enjoy the quiet time together surrounded by the beautiful scenery.
  • What would you do if you won the lottery?
Honestly, I don’t think I’d change much. I’d just have more freedom to give, create, and support others. I’d still help people find homes and still curl, because both bring me joy and purpose. I’d just be able to do it on an even bigger scale.
