I was born in Poland and raised in South Edmonton. I loved growing up in Edmonton, as it provided me with Big City Amenities and yet promoted an active, outdoor, rural lifestyle. Whether it was the intricate bike and walking trails that kept me active as a kid or the beautiful River Valley that gives me a quick break in my busy day now; the beautiful outdoors have always provided me with great joy. I have found that taking time to enjoy Mother Nature, is not hard in Edmonton, regardless of what part of the City you are in.
Like our diverse City, that possesses a great network of unique neighbourhoods, punctuated by beautiful green spaces, I too have an ‘eye’ for composition and how to put things together! My professional career originally started as a Marketing and Project Coordinator in the Advertising Industry. This job, was very exciting for me; specifically, it helped to spark my love for travel. From time to time, this job required me to be in London, England. While abroad in the UK, I seized the opportunity to travel and made my way around Europe; most notably to Greece, Italy, Germany, Poland and Spain.
When back home, after travelling extensively for my first job, I got started in the Real Estate Industry in 2011. I first began in ‘Staging’, with a specific interest in Residential living spaces. I found it fascinating how even the most unsuspecting spaces, with just a little effort and imagination could quickly be transformed into the backdrop of someone’s dream property! My original educational background was in visual communications and marketing. Seeing the big picture potential, I decided that it was best to also get my Real Estate License.
Having worked first in staging, then as a real estate agent, I believe in the value of educating my clients on every aspect of their purchase or sale. I try to provide them with a balance of cold hard numbers and recent market comparables, combined with information about the less quantifiable ‘emotional factor’ that ultimately drives most Buyers and Sellers’ decisions. I want my clients to say that I advised them ‘best’, based on their specific situation and helped steer them towards the ‘right’ decision for them at this given time. The only way to achieve this, is by being a good listener. Feel free to contact me directly, I’m always interested in hearing your story and how I can help you find your dream home, through the use of my industry knowledge combined with your imagination!
