The Heritage Lakes, St. Albert Area
Named for the two well-known water features located here, the Heritage Lakes, St. Albert community sits on the southernmost edge of the city. Most of this midsize neighbourhood consists of low-density residential housing, with a smaller pocket of medium-density housing found on the west side. Known as a family-friendly neighbourhood, Heritage Lakes residents have access to a variety of schools. Elementary schools include Albert Lacombe Catholic Elementary School, École Father Jan (French Immersion), École La Mission, Leo Nickerson, Robert Rundle, and Wild Rose.
Junior High options are École Secondaire Sainte Marguerite d’Youville (French Immersion), Sir George Simpson, and Vincent J. Maloney Catholic Junior High School. High School students can attend École Secondaire St. Albert Catholic High School (English and French Immersion), Paul Kane (for French immersion only), St. Albert Public Outreach High School, or St. Gabriel Education Centre (Outreach).

The close proximity to Edmonton and major commuting routes like Sir Winston Churchill Avenue, Levasseur Road, 170 Street, and Anthony Henday make commuting a breeze.
