Killarney Glengarry is comprised of 1.8 square kilometres of land area, making it a larger community, near the downtown core. As a result, you will find some properties with larger than average land plots with space for detached and attached garages and lush manicured lawns.

A.E. Cross School is a middle school for grades seven to nine, with Spanish bilingual education options. Vincent Masey is an alternative option. For High School Students, there is Central Memorial High School, which provides Advanced Placement courses, off-campus work experience programs, several clubs and extracurriculars, and dual credit.
Mount Royal University is also a six-minute commute away by car, making Killarney-Glengarry an ideal community for rental properties with young scholars in mind!
Transportation & Accessibility

Killarney-Glengarry is served by the Westbrook Mall LRT station, located directly north of the community and serves on the Blue Line, with service running from east to west Calgary.
17th Avenue, Macleod Trail SW, and Sarcee Trail SW are also directly accessible to the community and offer alternate routes to major work centres, as well as city-wide green spaces, and venues.
