This residential neighbourhood is a relaxed and cozy oasis that sits along the winding Elbow River, over 0.7 square kilometres. The community is excellent for newlyweds, young families, and professionals, as it offers safety and easy access to a wealth of amenities.

Canada's ninth-largest mall, Chinook Centre, is mere minutes away. With the Elbow River flowing adjacent to the park, you will have access to your own riverside viewing session as you recentre. Pathways and riverside trails extend north and south of the community and comprise the Elbow River's extensive loop. You will have 35 total kilometres for walks, biking, rollerblading, and jogging!  

With the Elboya and Britannia Slopes off-leash parks, within the vicinity, your dog will also love the area! 

Education 

Ease of access to excellent schools is another reason Parkhill is such a sought-after community. Residents are served by;

 Mount Royal University is also accessible to the community and is a ten-minute commute by car.

Transportation & Accessibility 

Parkhill is served by four bus lines that will allow for northbound access as far as Prince's Island Park and southbound as far as Canyon Meadows within 30 minutes. The downtown core is a 20-minute commute away, with a direct route and multiple options available.

Mount Royal University is also accessible, via numerous bus lines, with commutes varying between 20 and 35 minutes. Residents also enjoy easy access to the 39th Avenue LRT station on Calgary's Red Line.

Macleod Trail and Crowchild Trail are directly accessible to Parkhill, with Macleod providing a direct route to the downtown core in 10 minutes under ideal conditions. Additionally, Deerfoot Trail is easily found via Glenmore Trail, allowing for multiple options to major work centres, popular destinations within the city.
