Vista Heights was established in 1962 and is named after its location, perched atop a hill which offers panoramic views of the Bow River, Calgary skyline, and the Canadian Rockies in the distance. The community comprises approximately one square kilometre, which is suited for predominantly detached single-family homes with features such as peaked roofs and large front porches.
