The Area

Established in 1990, Hamptons is a relatively newer community in Calgary's ward two. Hamptons is contained within a land area of 5.6 square kilometres, making it one of the largest in the city in terms of land area. Residents are afforded ample sizes for lots with attached garages, front and back yards and options for walkout basements. With a peak elevation of 1,245 metres, you will find a range of hilltop properties that overlook the community and the city. 

Hamptons is home to predominantly luxury, single-family dwellings with walkout basements and lush manicured lawns. Residents take great pride in ownership, and the entire community reflects this. There are picturesque properties such as large modern homes with partial and full brick or concrete edifices accentuated by terracotta-tiled roofs.

 With Nose Hill Park, within 10 minutes by car, you are treated to over 11 square kilometres of sprawling hills with hiking trails, trees, shrubs, wildflowers, streams, ponds, and wildlife. As Canada's fourth largest urban park, Nose Hill is the ideal venue for family days, romantic walks, personal escapes, and workouts. There are also several off-leash areas located throughout!

Education 

 Students of all levels will enjoy access to a number of excellent schools. For elementary, the Hamptons School offers kindergarten until grade four. Alternatively, Captain John Palliser, located in Brentwood, offers kindergarten until grade six, with a Montessori education option. 

For middle school students, there is Tom Baines School, from Grade six until nine, located in Edgemont. Sir Winston Churchill High School is an excellent option for students from grades ten until 12. It offers the International Baccalaureate program, a long list of extracurricular activities and sports programs, and off-campus work experience. 

 For private schools, Renert School from kindergarten to grade 12 is well-staffed with smaller class sizes, excellent facilities for students, and a holistic educational program. 

Transportation & Accessibility 

 There are two bus lines that operate within the community and will facilitate a 30-minute community as northbound as Symons Valley, as east as Beddington Heights, as south as Dalhousie, and as west as Arbour Lake. A commute to the downtown core will last an hour with multiple bus lines.

By car, you will access various work centres via two major traffic arteries; Deerfoot Trail and Crowchild Trail via Country Hills Boulevard NW. A commute to the downtown core will take 20 minutes under ideal conditions and 30 minutes via Crowchild Trail NW.
