The community of Haysboro is bound by Heritage Drive to the north, Macleod Trail to the east, 98th Avenue to the south and 14th Street W and the Glenmore Reservoir to the west.

Located in the city's southwest, Haysboro maintains historical ties, as the land once belonged to Harry Hays, who sold it in a bid to fund the campaign that would result in his election as Calgary's 27th mayor.

Today, Haysboro is a bustling community that is preferred for its proximity to the Glenmore Reservoir and excellent athletic and recreation facilities and shopping centres.

Heritage Park is within walking distance of Haysboro and is one of Calgary's most beloved venues, steeped in history. Glenmore Park is a mere six minutes away, and the massive 347-hectare green space offers trails for walking with seating areas, hiking, and cycling, sheltered picnic areas with a spray park, a legacy park, and a tennis court, surrounding the Glenmore Reservoir. Education 

Haysboro Elementary School is conveniently located within the community for students from kindergarten to grade six. Woodman School accommodates students from grades seven until nine and is also located within Haysboro.

For high school, Henry Wise Wood is an excellent option and is just minutes away. The school offers career and technology training, the prestigious International Baccalaureate program, and off-campus work experience.

Transportation & Accessibility 

Elbow Drive bisects the locale and is the communities main traffic vein to major traffic arteries such as Macleod Trail for north and southbound access and Glenmore Trail for east and westbound access.

There are nine bus lines that operate within Haysboro that will allow for a 30-minute commute to as far north as Mission, east as Manchester, south as Somerset, and west as Oakridge. Heritage LRT Station on the city's Blue Line is within walking distance of residents of Haysboro, located within the community.
