Henry Wise wood High School offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate program, career and technology training, off-campus work experience, and dual credit programs.

Transportation & Accessibility 

Two bus routes within the community allow for a 30-minute commute as far north as the downtown core, east as Ogden, south as Somerset, and west as Oakridge. The community is within walking distance of Heritage, and Chinook Park LRT Stations, on Calgary's north-to-southbound Red Line.

Kingsland is easily found via Glenmore Trail and Macleod Trail. Macleod Trail offers immediate access to the downtown core in just ten minutes. Westbound on Glenmore Trail gives access to Crowchild Trail, for a commute to major work centres in the northwest, such as the University of Calgary and Foothills Medical Centre, within 20 minutes.
