The Area

The West Village is home to Shaw Millennium Park, which comprises seven hectares of land and hosts various events throughout the year. Education
You will have three options for public schools within the area; Connaught Elementary School serves students from kindergarten to grade six. Mount Royal Junior High School is an excellent option for grades seven to nine.
Western Canada High School is one of the best in the city for high school. Western offers French immersion programs, the prestigious International Baccalaureate program, career-focused work experience, dual credit, and extra-curricular activities.
Transportation & Accessibility
West Village is one of the most bike-friendly neighbourhoods in Calgary, with several bike lanes and trails throughout the community and throughout the downtown core.
You will also enjoy easy access to various bus routes throughout the core and beyond. These lines will allow for a 30-minute commute to as far north as Huntington Hills, east as Forest Lawn, south as Southwood, and west as Aspen Woods. The community is well-served by the Kerby West LRT Station for direct access to Calgary's Blue Line, which runs east to west across the city.
Your central placement within the city will place you within proximity to other major work centres. Crowchild Trail will facilitate a 15-minute commute to significant work centres such as the University of Calgary and the Foothills Medical Centre.
