While there are no major parks in and around Nolan Hill, the area features many green spaces, as do the nearby communities of Kincora, Sage Hill and Simons Valley.
For those who want to get out in nature, Nose Hill Park is a short drive away and features plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling and trail walking.
The neighbourhood is largely residential but the centres of Sage Hill Crossing and Gates of Nolan Hill are close by, which offer stores that include Walmart, Loblaws City Market and Sobeys. State & Main is a popular restaurant and pub within the community.
Main Routes & City Transportation in Nolan Hill
Sarcee Trail runs just west of Nolan Hill and provides access into Northwest Calgary and the communities of Ranchlands, Edgemont, and Silver Springs.
The main hub of Stoney Trail also runs through the community and provides access to many neighbourhoods throughout Northern Calgary. The Calgary International Airport is just 20 minutes away by car and provides flights to destinations throughout Canada and the United States.
As one of Calgary's newest communities, Nolan Hill sits at the outermost edge of North Calgary but still affords access to all the amenities the city has to offer.
