Established in 1965, Willow Park spans 3.4 square kilometres, where you will find mature-lined streets with an abundance of detached single-family homes with a pleasant array of multi-family options. The housing styles range from bungalows with low-pitched roofs and wide front porches to multi-level homes with peaked roofs, basements, and front and backyards.
There are also ranch and colonial style homes, which contribute to the communities, vintage and classic chic. As one of the safer communities in the area, Willow Park is preferred for its array of recreational amenities, shopping centres, and dining options.
Amenities, Attractions, & Entertainment
There is no shortage of entertainment options in Willow Park, with the community served by their active and accepting community association. The Willow Park Community Association is the community hub for various community events, ranging from soccer, tennis, and pickleball, and excellent amenities.
Southcentre Mall, which is located just a short drive from the community, offers a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The nearby Chinook Centre, Calgary's largest shopping mall, is also a popular destination for residents of Willow Park. The Willow Park Golf and Country Club lies in the northwest corner of the community. This private club features an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, and a swimming pool, among other top-notch amenities.
Parks, Trails & Green Spaces
The community is home to several parks and green spaces, including the popular Carburn Park. This Park features a lake, walking trails, and picnic areas and is a popular spot for fishing and canoeing. The nearby Fish Creek Provincial Park, which is one of the largest urban parks in North America, offers even more recreational opportunities. With over 80 kilometres of trails and 3000 acres of land featuring steams, rivers and abundant wildlife.

Willow Park is easily accessible by car via major roadways, including Deerfoot Trail and Macleod Trail, for a 20-minute commute to the downtown core under ideal conditions.
There are a variety of bus lines within the community, allowing a 30-minute commute as far north as Alyth-Manchester, east as the South Foothills, south as Somerset, and west as Palliser.
