Mount Pleasant was annexed in 1910, and established 1912 making it one of Calgary’s oldest communities. With an area of 1.9 square kilometres, the locale is mainly comprised of single-family homes, although a quarter of the properties are multi-family options.

Transportation & Accessibility
Mount Pleasant benefits from ample bike lanes throughout the community that extends northbound into Confederation Park and southbound towards the downtown core. It is a great neighbourhood for cyclists, and a bike is sufficient to complete many errands.
There are three bus lines within community that will allow for a 30-commute to as far north as Country Hills, east as Sunridge, south as Mission, and west as the University of Calgary and Alberta Children’s Hospital.
16th Avenue NE is easily accessible to Mount Pleasant and offers a 10-minute westbound route to the Foothills Medical Centre, Alberta Children’s Hospital, and the University of Calgary. Centre Street N, and 10th Street NW will each yield a commute to the downtown core in under 10 minutes.
