While the neighbourhood was initially annexed to Calgary in 1910, it was established as a residential community in 1958. As a quiet, suburban neighbourhood that is still just a short drive away from the amenities of the city, Rosemont is a great suburban community to thrive in.

Nearby Parks & Local Amenities

The area of Rosemont is perfect for those who love nature with its proximity to Queens Park Village, Canmore Park and Confederation Park. The vast stretch of Nose Hill Park is just a short distance away and offers an abundance of recreational opportunities like trail walking, cycling and cross-country skiing in a natural environment. There are two malls just outside Rosemont, the North Hill Mall and Brentwood Village Mall, which has a number of stores and restaurants including Kilkenny Irish Pub, Bed Bath and Beyond, and London Drugs. 

Main Routes & Public Transportation

14th Street NW runs through the area and provides access to Nose Hill Park and the community of Country Hills in the north, and to Kensington and the downtown core in the south. The Trans-Canada Highway is just south of Rosemont and provides access in the west to Banff and Kananaskis and access in the east to Chestermere and Medicine Hat. There are no C-Train stations in the area, but both the Banff Trail and SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee stations are just a short distance away.
