Somerset is well-connected to the rest of Calgary through several major roadways, including Macleod Trail and Stoney Trail. It is well-served by five bus routes that connect residents to the city's transit system. The Shawnessy LRT station, located a stone's throw away, provides easy access to downtown Calgary and other parts of the city.
