The long and winding trail extends north and south of the community, offering beautiful scenic views of the Elbow River along the adjacent trails. North of Windsor Park are the Britannia Slopes where you will find scenic elevated views, rolling hills with a massive off-leash area for your dog.
South west of Windsor Park is the Glenmore Reservoir Trail, with 15.1 kilometres of looping paths which surround the Glenmore Reservoir. The reservoir can be used for kayaking, canoeing, sailing, fishing, and boating lessons in the summer. In the winter, the trail is available for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The scenic park hosts a sheltered picnic area, multiple viewing and resting vantage points, and playground. Nearby to the reservoir are tennis courts for lessons and matches!

Transportation & Accessibility
There are various bus lines that will allow for a 30-minute commute to as far north as 4th Avenue SW, as east as Manchester, as south as Southwood, and west as west as Glamorgan. There are direct lines to the downtown core that will facilitate a 40 minute trip. To Mount Royal University, there is a direct line for an 18 minute journey. Chinook LRT Station is nearest to the community, which runs on the city's Red Line.
Macleaod Trail is directly accessible to Windsor Park, and will allow for a 15-minute commute to the downtown core, with Elbow Drive SW as an alternative.
