Halloween Weekend is upon us, so we thought we would round up the top Halloween Events in and around Edmonton.

Family Friendly

Telus World of Science is hosting several Halloween-themed events and activities for the whole family to enjoy! Some events are selling out, so make sure you head to their website to see what is still available and pre-book your tickets online. Don't want to venture out? They also have online videos showcasing Spooktacular Science Activities you can do at home. Edmonton Valley Zoo Boo at the Zoo, presented by Co-op. Dress up in your Halloween costume and head to the Edmonton Valley Zoo to celebrate conservation, costumes and candy! You'll get to learn about some of your favourite animals while watching them get their Halloween pumpkin enrichments, and don't forget your reusable treat bag -  there will be nine trick-or-treat stops as you explore the zoo. Pre-book your tickets here. Prairie Gardens Haunted Pumpkin Festival. A Fall-O-Ween event the whole family can enjoy, and just 25KM North of Edmonton! With tons of events/activities, including Puppet Shows, Pumpkin Cannon, Haunted Ghost Tours, 15-Acre U-Pick Pumpkin Patch and a Big Cornmaze. Plus, kids dressed in a costume get in for FREE on Halloween Day! Buy your tickets here. Mission Ridge Stables HalloWhinny Event. Just North of St Albert, this Mission Ridge is hosting its second annual Halloween Activity Day. Keep the kiddos busy and entertained with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities:  including a craft, interacting with animals, dressing up a miniature pony or donkey, COVID-safe "trick or treating" with the animals, and pony rides. For More Mature Audiences

The following events vary in age-appropriateness; some may be suitable for tweens and teens but make sure you consider child age, development and personality before bringing them along. Edmonton Ghost Tours - Discover the haunted history of Edmonton with Edmonton's Ghost Tours. They have five different tours to choose from, including an 18+ Haunted Pub Tour. Deadmonton Haunted House is back with not one but two different haunted experiences! Warped: the main haunt, inside the warehouse, and Dusk: an old-style New Orleans Cemetery located outside, in their compound. Rutherford Manor Haunt is Edmonton's Premier Home Yard, and House Haunts each Halloween season. Currently, only Halloween Day walk-ins are available, but we highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. Dark: Fort Edmonton Park is back for its fourth year. Book your tickets to this complete Halloween Experience and take in 3 immersive experiences that will haunt you to your core! Plus, enjoy access to the Halloween Festival with food, beverages and live entertainment. K3 Field of Screams - This family-friendly attraction located South-East of Edmonton has turned into a haunted field of screams this Halloween Season! Do you dare enter this haunted corn maze? If so, they recommend you dress warmly, wear old footwear and expect it to be cold, dark and SCARY! Tickets can be purchased on site.
