Awards season is not just for celebrities, real estate agents receive awards at this time of year as well. In the industry, agents are typically given awards for selling a lot of real estate, which in our minds, does not necessarily equate to being a great real estate agent. We know that our clients want to be well represented and that they want to have a positive experience buying or selling real estate, and the only way to know if we've done a good job is to ask our clients. Our brokerage uses an online service called RealSatisfied that allows customers to rate their agent on three key performance indicators: customer satisfaction, agent performance and recommendation. Customer ratings and testimonials are available on each agent’s bio page on our websites, and those performance indicators are the foundation of the Liv Real Estate awards program.

Our agents all understand that the customer is our number one priority, and we reward those who go the extra mile.”
We were incredibly honoured to receive the Consumer Choice Award for Northern Alberta this year as it recognizes us for being a leader for customer service in the real estate industry. Our brokerage also recently held our annual awards celebration recognizing agents for excellent customer service, leadership and community involvement in the following categories:

Top Customer Service

The top customer service award is given to the three Liv Real Estate Associates with the highest customer satisfaction ratings, which are verified by a third party. We truly believe the most important thing we can measure is our clients’ satisfaction. Our top customer service award winners all receive praise from their clients for their patience, professionalism, knowledge, and communication. 5 (or more) Consecutive Years of Customer Service Excellence

The most difficult award in our company to achieve. These agents have achieved a customer satisfaction rating above the national average (94%), for at least 5 years in a row, and have received at least 9 positive customer satisfaction surveys each year. Team Builder Award

The team builder award winner is selected by our agents, through a vote, and goes to the Liv Real Estate Associate that other associates turn to for help. Whether it’s advice, encouragement, or support, this person is there when others need them. Over 70% of our team members received votes this year, which is a reflection of how supportive our agents are of each other. It’s a rare thing in any work environment to have so many people helping each other out, let alone in a competitive industry. Congratulations to Don Brown, the winner of the team builder award for the second year in a row.

Leadership Award

While maintaining a high level of production, the winner of the leadership award demonstrates leadership through community involvement, continuing education, participation at office meetings, and being a mentor to other agents in the office. The winner of this year’s Leadership Award received a lot of praise from the team in this year’s survey, including comments such as:
"She has been actively involved in my journey since before I joined the brokerage and has continued to support me through it all." "She is very generous with her time and knowledge. You can tell she cares about helping lift you up to her level. I’d like to be her when I grow up, but I don’t think I have the energy, haha." "She has been my rock. She has helped me through some really personal work experiences and I am incredibly grateful for her support. She doesn’t even know me and she is always there for me to lean on. She is an amazing woman."
That’s high praise from her peers. She has won the customer service award for 6 years running, is consistently one of our top producing agents, has travelled to California and Colorado to expand her knowledge of the industry, and was recently elected to the RAE Member Services committee. Congratulations to this year's Leadership Award Winner Deidre Harrison.

Liv Real Estate Founder’s Award

This award is given to the person who best exemplifies and promotes our brand values during the course of the year, while maintaining a high customer satisfaction rating and high production level. Our brand values include: Innovation, Encouraging, Results-Oriented, Highly Ethical, Fun, Trustworthy, and Professional. The winner of this year’s award is one of the top producing agents in the office, with an exceptional customer satisfaction rating for 5-years running. His clients commend his trustworthiness, knowledge and excellent advice. He particularly reflects our brand values of being encouraging, informative, ethical, trustworthy and professional. Congratulations Lindsay Parsons.
